Day 7 Update

Day 7 was a busy day for Lavinia, Harry and Paul. After a good night’s sleep it was time to leave a very wet Carmarthen to travel back down to the coast. First stop: the Pendine Sands. Here, Lavinia, Harry and Paul visited the Museum of Landspeed which tells the iconic story of the Pendine Sands and the sporting records set there. Lavinia was parked up outside in the museum’s events circle. A big thank you to the museum for having us!

In the afternoon and with the weather clearing up a bit, it was time to head north again, 120 miles to Porthmadog and that evening’s stopover point. Lavinia continues to do well and they all made great progress, travelling along the north of the Heritage Coast towards Aberystwyth and through Snowdonia National Park, taking in some truly stunning Welsh scenery.

Remember you can follow along on the Lavinia’s Adventures facebook page or the @reclaimliferoadtrip Instagram account for more regular updates. Please keep showing your support and sharing the Give as you Live page to encourage donations. With so many people experiencing emotional distress and having difficulty accessing support through the NHS, it is so important for there to be a community alternative. We need a Reclaim Life group in every town. Help us spread the word!
