Day 1 complete!
t was a busy first day for Lavinia on her road trip for Reclaim Life. After an interview with BBC Three Counties Radio, Lavinia, Harry and Paul set off from the Reclaim Life centre in Leighton Buzzard at 8.30am. The first leg of their journey was 50 miles and took them down to Ladbroke Hall in London, the former Talbot car factory and offices, for the annual celebratory lunch with the Talbot Owners’ Club where Lavinia received an excellent reception.
After lunch it was time to get back on the road. After some heavy traffic in London, coming out through the East End, Lavinia travelled through the Blackwall tunnel onto Dartford, Rochester, Sittingbourne to the A299. Lavinia drove for around 4 hours, with only one brief stop, and is running like a beauty. Finally, Lavinia pulled into Margate for dinner and the first overnight stop on her trip.
